Care management for cash-pay practices
Your rates are easier to say yes to when clients get money back.
Manifest runs the paperwork side of a cash-pay practice — the schedule, the clinical notes, the intake forms, and the superbill your client submits to their insurer. You get paid at the visit. They get reimbursed afterwards. Neither of you spends an evening on it.
How it works
From the treatment table to money back in their pocket.
Four steps between a visit and a reimbursement. You do the first two. Manifest does the other two while you're with your next client.

Your schedule

Their insurer

- sent

- they submit
- out of network
Steps three and four happen on their own, from the note you already wrote.
What you get
Built for a practice that bills the client, not the payer.
Physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists — anyone who left insurance panels and now has to hand clients something their insurer will accept.
In the treatment room
-
Write the note before your next client
Describe the visit in a sentence and Manifest drafts the note in the conventions of your discipline. You read it, fix what's wrong, and sign it. Minutes, not an evening of catching up.
-
Sign it and it's finished
A signed note carries your name and the moment you signed, and stops being editable. If a payer or a board ever asks, the record answers for itself.
-
See what you haven't written yet
Visits that came and went without a note are collected on one page. No surprises three weeks later when a client asks for their superbill.
-
Watch a plan of care change over time
Every revision to a client's plan is kept, so you can see how their care progressed across months without rereading every note.
For your clients
-
A superbill their insurer accepts
Itemised, with procedure and diagnosis codes, dates of service, and your NPI and tax ID — the details an out-of-network claim gets rejected for missing. Emailed the moment you issue it.
-
Paperwork done before they arrive
Intake questions and the liability waiver are signed online from their own account. Nobody starts their first visit filling in a clipboard.
-
Referrals and imaging in one place
Ask for a referral, an X-ray report, or a lab result and your client uploads it directly — instead of it sitting in an email thread you have to dig through later.
-
Their own record, when they want it
Clients can see their plan, their documents, and their receipts without calling the front desk to ask.
Behind the desk
-
One system instead of four
Schedule, notes, intake, and billing in the same place, so nothing has to be retyped from one tool into another — which is where dates and codes go wrong.
-
Your codes, ready to pick
The procedure and diagnosis codes your practice actually bills are kept in a list you choose from, rather than typed from memory into a box.
-
Nobody chases forms by hand
A daily summary of clients who still haven't signed something, so onboarding doesn't quietly stall.
-
Add your team, decide who bills
Several practitioners can share a client, while superbills stay attributed to the one whose credentials belong on them.
Your clients' information
Health records, treated like health records.
Manifest holds your clients' charts. That shapes how it's built, and what we refuse to do with what's inside.
Only the right people see a chart
Who can open a record isn't decided by which screen you're on — it's enforced by the database itself. A practitioner reaches their own clients. A client reaches their own chart. Someone whose access hasn't been set up yet reaches nothing at all.
We measure the app, not your charts
We look at which features get used, never at what's written in them. Screen recording is switched off, on-screen text is hidden before anything leaves the browser, and clients are never identified to our analytics provider at all.
The AI stays inside your practice's own account
When you ask for a draft note, it's written by Google's AI running inside the same account that holds your records, under the same agreement — not sent off to a separate AI company, and never used to train anyone's models.
We don't sell it, and we don't advertise
There is no advertising in Manifest, and no sale or sharing of anyone's personal information for it. Your clients' health information is not a product.
The full detail — every category of information, everyone who processes it, and how to ask for a record or its deletion — is in the privacy policy.
